The second CFI conference in 2016 took place in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 9-11. Similar to previous conferences, CFI advisors from all over the world gathered to discuss cross-border business opportunities with entrepreneurs and investors in various settings and meetings. Invited guest speakers shared their expertise and insights into the business, economic, and financial climate in Portugal. The conference proved very informative for investors coming from other European countries and other continents.
 
CFI welcomed entrepreneurs and investors to join the CFI advisors for specific and general discussions regarding worldwide cross-border M&A opportunities and trends. The first CFI conference in 2016 took place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from June 8-10. The first CFI Conference in 2015 took place in Warsaw, Poland, from April 15-17. Similar to previous conferences, CFI advisors from all over the world gathered to discuss cross-border business opportunities with entrepreneurs and investors in various settings and meetings. There were also a number of speakers who shared their expertise and insights into the business, economic and financial climate in Poland and in the Baltic countries of Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia. Topics such as funding and liquidity access were also addressed. The conference was very informative for investors coming from other European and continental countries with an interest in this part of the world.
 
CFI welcomed entrepreneurs and investors to join the CFI advisors for specific and general discussions regarding worldwide cross-border M&A opportunities and trends in Poland and the Baltic countries in particular. The CFI group Conference was held in Zurich, Switzerland, from Wednesday 13 to Friday 15 November 2013. CFI participants from all over the world gathered to discuss cross-border business opportunities with entrepreneurs and investors in various settings and meetings.

Oct 17-19, 2012 Autumn Conference Düsseldorf, Germany

The CFI group Düsseldorf Conference was held from Wednesday 17th of October until Friday 19th of October. The CFI group participants (approximately 40) from all over the world came together to discuss cross border business opportunities with entrepreneurs and investors in various settings and meetings. In addition, group participants were able to strengthen and deepen personal relationships, profile the CFI group to potential clients, discuss strategic network matters and have some fun.

On Thursday the 18th, the conference was open to external visitors. CFI invited entrepreneurs and investors to join the CFI group advisors for a full day of specific discussions regarding worldwide cross border M&A opportunities and trends. This was an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs and investors to test their global ambitions with M&A advisors from all over the world and to get answers to questions they have on acquiring businesses abroad or finding international buyers and/or sellers.

May 23-25, 2012 Spring Conference Stockholm, Sweden

CFI Sweden organised the CFI group conference held from 23 - 25 May, 2012 in Stockholm, Sweden.

Nov 16-18, 2011 Autumn Conference Mumbai, India

The CFI Mumbai Conference was held from Wednesday 16th until Friday 18th of November. Hosting the event was CFI India, CFI's Indian member. CFI group delegates from all over the world came together to discuss cross border business opportunities and shared some of their experience with all present.

On Thursday the 17th, the conference was open to external visitors. On this day, CFI India along with the CFI group members hosted a day’s summit on “Cross-Border Mergers & Acquisitions” at Trident Hotel, Nariman Point, Mumbai, India, inviting numerous entrepreneurs, investors, financiers and lawyers to join the CFI group delegates. More than 20 eminent speakers talked on subjects related to cross-border deals, and shared some of their experience with the audience. The objective of the conference was to gain a better understanding on cross-border deals and to build and consolidate relationships with Indian Corporates, with an opportunity to have further meetings with CFI group delegates on 18th November. This conference was an excellent opportunity for the Indian Corporates to test their global ambitions with M&A advisors from all over the world and answered questions they had on acquiring businesses abroad or finding international buyers.

May 18-20, 2011 Spring Conference Amsterdam, Netherlands

The CFI Amsterdam conference was held from Wednesday the 18th until Friday the 20th of May. CFI group participants from all over the world came together to discuss cross-border business opportunities with entreprenuers and investors in various settings and meetings. In addition, the participants strengthened and deepened personal relationships, profiled the CFI group to potential clients, and discussed strategic matters. 

On Thursday the 19th, the conference was open to exernal visitors. The CFI group invited entreprenuers, investors, and financiers to join the CFI delegates for informal discussions regarding global opportunities, trends, markets, and contacts during a two-hour event in downtown Amsterdam. Furthermore, the CFI group offered the opportunity to several internationally operating entreprenuers to join the participants during most of the day on Wednesday and Thursday for a company-specific discussion on cross-border opportuinties. This was an excellent opportunity for various firms to test their global ambitions with M&A advisors from all over the world and to answer questions they had on acquiring businesses abroad or finding international buyers. 

The CFI group also presented its findings from research that was conducted on worldwide M&A trends with a special focus on the Netherlands.
