M&A Associate
CFI is an independent corporate finance group present in 20 countries worldwide.
Your Role as an M&A Associate at CFI France, you will:
- Develop presentations and materials for the M&A process, including pitches, sales presentations, teasers, information memos, and valuation reports.
- Prepare financial valuation models for companies.
- Develop sectoral market studies.
- Monitor the flow of information in the M&A process, including due diligence.
- Participate in meetings with investors and clients regarding current opportunities.
- Support directors and vice-presidents in executing M&A projects, including disposals, acquisitions, carve-outs, and cross-border transactions across multiple sectors.
- Connect the local team with funds and strategic players to present CFI mandates.
- Map and identify cross-border transaction opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Maintain active contact with project stakeholders and direct contact with clients, banks, advisors, and private equity parties.
- Participate in sector committees with other countries in the CFI group.
- Participate in presentations and prospecting for new mandates.
- Participate in the execution of cross-border mandates with international teams.
Your Profile
- Several years of M&A experience.
- Degree in engineering or business.
- Advanced knowledge of finance.
- Ability to work in small teams and handle multiple projects.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Accustomed to working in an international environment.
