Virta has raised EUR 30m growth financing from Jolt Capital, Tesi and Vertex Growth
Helsinki – Corporate Finance International (’CFI’) is pleased to announce that they acted as financial advisor to Virta on raising EUR 30m growth financing by Jolt Capital (lead investor), Tesi (co-investor) and Vertex Growth (co-investor).
Virta is a fast-growing digital e-mobility charging platform in Europe and is operating in over 30 countries. The company services over 500 partners around the world to build future-proof EV charging businesses. Their digital platform connects all of the key players in the electric vehicle ecosystem and provides services for the entire value chain. Virta offers the most cost-effective channel to launch, scale, and operate commercial services in this EV charging ecosystem – as a primary business or as a value-added service.
The investment round was completed in April 2021, led by Jolt Capital, a growth equity firm focused on scaling European technology companies and two co-investors, Tesi, Finnish Industry Investment and Vertex Growth. Also, all Virta shareholders participated in the round. The first closing of the round was accomplished in April 2020 with ENEOS, the leading integrated energy company from Japan.
The transaction closed in April 2021.
