Luiz Portela has broad experience in corporate finance, project valuation, and project finance, with local and global experience on both the sell-side and the buy-side. Before joining the CFI Group, he was part of BBM Bank’s Management Control team, was an Investment and Risk Specialist at BRMALLS, and had a long experience as Financial Advisor for ENGIE. Luiz is a CFA level 3 candidate, having passed levels 1 and 2 on his first attempt. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), where he had a full scholarship awarded for academic merit.
