Compass Food Sales Company completed a partial sale to BDG & Partners

Toronto – CFI Canada is pleased to announce it acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor to Compass Foods Sales on a partial sale to BDG & Partners.

Ontario-based Compass Food Sales Company Limited (“Compass”) has partnered with Quebec-based private equity sponsor BDG & Partners (“BDG”) to further the growth of its business.

Founded in 1974, Compass (www.compassfoodsales.com) is one of Canada’s largest providers of dried fruits, nuts and other complimentary products to customers across multiple channels throughout Canada. It has a reputation for innovation, reliability and service. Its products are sourced globally and processed at the company’s modern processing facilities located in Aurora, Ontario.

BDG (www.cfbdg.com) is a private equity fund dedicated to working with Canadian businesses. Its partners aim to add value by investing in great businesses and providing strategic insight, operational experience and global relationships to further a company’s growth.

The transaction closed on 13 June 2018.
