Budapest – CFI Hungary is pleased to announce that they acted as financial advisor to Vág-Tech Projekt Kft. in the acquisition of Vág-Tech Kft., manufacturer of industrial blades. The company operates in a 1,500sqm facility located in north-western Pest county. The company has two core activities: manufacturing of industrial circular and straight blades, knife holders and other cutting tools; custom and small series machine production.
Péter Pásztor is the founder of Vág-Tech Kft. led the company as a family business for more than 15 years and now decided to retire and sale its ownership rights.
The buyer, Vág-Tech Projekt Kft., is a joint venture of a subsidiary of a Hungarian private individual, which controls the majority stake of the company. MFB KKV Tőkealap, an investment fund belonging to the Hungarian State, is also involved in the transaction as financial investor.
The transaction closed on 19 October 2020.
