Daniel begon zijn professionele carrière in Düsseldorf, werkte vier jaar bij een Big4-accountantskantoor, voordat hij in 2008 bij CFI Duitsland kwam. Van 2008 tot eind 2013 leidde hij verschillende Corporate Finance-projecten in fusies en overnames, financieel advies en herstructurering. In de jaren 2014-2016 werkte hij als CFO voor de Duits/Poolse business unit in 1 van Europa’s toonaangevende metaalrecyclingbedrijven. Voordat hij in april 2019 terugkeerde naar CFI Duitsland, richtte hij zijn eigen start-up op, een B2B online marktplaats voor het recyclen van grondstoffen.
Daniel heeft een uitgebreide ervaring in recycling, grondstoffen, e-commerce, machines, automative en MRO-onderdelen, zowel in fusies en overnames/ financieel advies als bedrijfsherstructureringen. Zijn ervaring wordt afgerond met projecten in de voedingsingrediënten en farmaceutische sectoren. Hij studeerde af met een diploma bedrijfskunde aan de universiteit van Paderborn en nam deel aan een executive educatieprorgramma voor herstructurering en fusies en overnames aan de Harvard Business School.
