Markus kwam in 2019 bij CFI Zwitzerland als Senior Manager. Hij begon zijn carrière op de afdeling Corporate Finance van een internationaal auditkantoor en adviseerde over tal van small- en midcap-transacties als adviseur aan de koopzijde. Daarnaast heeft hij ruime expertise in herstructurering en IPO-gerelateerd advies.
Voordat hij bij CFI Zwitserland kwam, was hij Investment Manager voor een pensioenfonds in Zurich. Hij was verantwoordelijk voor de PE- en infrastructuurportefeuille van het fonds en diende als directeur voor verschillende beleggingen van het fonds. Markus studeerde bedrijfskunde en Chinese studies in Keulen en Beijing.
