Altero was acquired by Siparex, BNP Paribas Developpement and Africinvest
Paris – CFI is pleased to announce it acted as exclusive financial advisor to Altero in the sale of a majority stake to Siparex, BNP Paribas Developpement and management from the founder and IXO Private Equity.
Founded in 1989, Altereo is an influential player in water and urban engineering. The group covers the entire country through its 12 agencies in France and nearly 200 employees. It also conducts international projects, particularly on the African continent.
With a turnover of about €16 million, Altereo offers a wide range of complementary services for local authorities and public services: water engineering, support to public policies, cities and territories, innovative services and IT.
Thanks to the effort put into R&D since its creation, Altereo has developed a wide range of innovative products and services with high added value, such as HpO – an innovation that has been awarded the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” label and which enabled the group to win the Grand Prix National de l’Ingénierie in 2019.
The acquisition of the group by Siparex and BNP Paribas Développement alongside the management will enable Altereo to continue its growth and deliver its large order book driven by environmental issues and favored by regulations.
