CFI strengthens M&A practice through appointment of Robbert Claassen as Partner


Corporate Finance International (‘CFI’) welcomes Robbert Claassen as new Partner per 1 January 2020. Robbert will be based in CFI’s Amsterdam office.

In the 22 years prior to joining CFI, Robbert was most recently Managing Director Corporate Finance at ABN AMRO, where he headed the Business Services and Industrials sectors, focussing on (cross-border) M&A, ECM and financing transactions. Before that he was a key member of the Global Industrials Group’s M&A team of Royal Bank of Scotland in London.

Robbert brings a valuable international network and a wealth of experience in advising private equity, corporates and entrepreneurs in primarily the international Business Services sector. Robbert will further enhance the firm’s deal origination capabilities and joins CFI’s ongoing mission to bring top-tier M&A advice and execution in this strategically important ecosystem.
