Cen Thomas

Profile

Cen Thomas is an experienced M&A lead advisor and has worked across a wide range of sectors including Food and Consumer Goods, Industrials, Business Services and Healthcare, on transactions ranging from £5million to £200million+ both within the UK and internationally. He has advised entrepreneurs, privately and publicly owned corporates and private equity on company disposals, acquisitions, fund-raisings and M&A strategy.

Prior to joining Gambit, Cen worked for 10 years at Deloitte within its Lead Advisory M&A and Transaction Services teams, covering a range of sectors across the UK. Whilst at Deloitte, he took a leading role in its UK Special Situations team, focused on accelerated M&A and complex corporate carve-outs. Prior to Deloitte, Cen gained significant experience by working on lead advisory disposals and acquisitions, financial due diligence, valuations, debt advisory, forensic and special projects at UHY Hacker Young.

Cen is a Fellow of the ICAEW as a Chartered Accountant and was awarded the ICAEW Corporate Finance Diploma in 2011. He is a Politics with Economics graduate from the University of Bath and is a fluent Welsh speaker.
