CFI advised Drecomm Internet Intelligence on its sale to Q4 Open Source (Youwe), a portfolio company of TIIN Techfund


Amsterdam  CFI is pleased to announce it acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor to the founders of Drecomm Internet Intelligence (‘Drecomm’) on its sale to Q4 Open Source (after the transaction renamed ‘Youwe’), a portfolio company of TIIN Techfund, an IT focused investment fund managed by TIIN Capital.

Drecomm Internet Intelligence (‘Drecomm’) is a full service internet agency, specialised in open source application development relating to complex client portals, corporate web sites, web shops, intra- and extranet applications. The Company is specialised in the implementation of Content Management Systems (‘CMS’) based on TYPO3 and Drupal, and develops web shops based on Magento technology. Drecomm operates from offices in Rotterdam, Groningen and Amersfoort.

Q4 Open Source (Youwe) is a dedicated open source application development company, specialised in Joomla, Drupal, WordPress, Typo3, OSCommerce, and Symfony, including operating companies such as Madcap, Ooip, Q4Matics and Comercia.

TIIN Capital invests in promising and innovative early-stage and later-stage companies in the Netherlands with a focus on IT/software, high-tech and med-tech industries. TIIN Capital has the largest network of informal investors in the Netherlands. TIIN Capital invests in Q4 Open Source through Techfund.

CFI served as the corporate finance advisor to the shareholders of Drecomm. CFI facilitated discussions and negotiations with a range of international strategic and financial parties in a process that ultimately resulted in a succesful transaction with Q4 Open Source (Youwe). Following the transaction, sellers retain a minority stake in the company.
