CWS Cleanrooms acquires German cleanroom specialist GOREX
Dusseldorf – CFI is delighted to announce that it has acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor to CWS Cleanrooms in the acquisition of GOREX Gebäudemanagement GmbH, a company specializing in cleanroom and laboratory cleaning.
“The acquisition is another milestone in the implementation of CWS Cleanrooms’ growth strategy. It allows us to further expand the cleanroom cleaning business, close local gaps and thus further complete our full-service offering, consisting of clothing, training, consumables and on-site service,” says Markus Schad, Managing Director CWS Cleanrooms.
Following the succesful acquisition of Dutch cleanroom specialist WERO in 2021, CFI and CWS extended their collaboration and discussed potential targets for a market expansion in Germany. CFI initiated the discussions with GOREX, introduced CWS’s cleanroom cleaning strategy, advised on valuation and coordinated the due diligence. This ultimately resulted in a successful transaction closed on July 1st, 2022.
