Ernst Schweizer AG has undergone a carve-out and sale of its facades business division to Geilinger
Zurich – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to Ernst Schweizer AG in the carve-out and sale of its facades division to Geilinger.
Ernst Schweizer AG is a group focused on facade construction, window frames, post and parcel boxes as well as solar energy (PV) panel mounting materials. The facade business (contractor) of Ernst Schweizer AG is one of the leading facade installation companies in Switzerland.
Geilinger is a leading company in metal and facade construction since 1845, employing over 90 employees in Winterthur.
On 1 January 2024, Geilinger AG will take over the facade division of Ernst Schweizer AG. Geilinger will continue the facade business with sales, technical consulting, installation and services as a branch at Schweizer’s present location in Hedingen and will take over approximately 40 Schweizer employees. As part of the takeover, Schweizer becomes a minority shareholder in Geilinger.
