GMG Elettrotecnica has been acquired by Vecton backed by Newman Holding

Milan – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to GMG Elettrotecnica in connection with its combination with Vecton, a newly established MEP platform backed by Newman Holding, a permanent capital investment company focused on building market-leading business services platforms through long-term partnerships with founder-led companies.

Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Passirano (Brescia), GMG Elettrotecnica is a provider of electrical engineering solutions, specializing in the design, installation and maintenance of industrial and civil electrical systems, industrial automation and energy efficiency solutions. Over nearly five decades, the Company has established itself as a trusted partner to industrial and commercial customers through its technical expertise, engineering capabilities and long-standing client relationships.

Vecton was established through the combination of five leading Northern Italian, each bringing decades of experience in electrical and HVAC installation and maintenance services (MEP).

The transaction marks the launch of Newman Holding’s first platform and represents a significant step towards the consolidation of the highly fragmented Italian MEP market. By bringing together complementary capabilities and preserving the entrepreneurial heritage of its founding companies, Vecton aims to create a scaled industry leader positioned to benefit from long-term structural trends, including electrification, energy efficiency and the increasing complexity of building infrastructure.

This transaction closed on 10 June 2026.
