MEWO S.A. has acquired a EUR 15 million equity investment from Vinci S.A.


Warsaw – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of MEWO S.A. on a EUR 15 million equity investment from Vinci S.A., a fund management company specialising in private equity and venture capital within the Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) Group.

MEWO S.A. is Poland’s largest provider of environmental, geophysical, and geotechnical offshore survey services. The company delivers specialist solutions to the offshore sector — spanning offshore wind farms, oil & gas installations, subsea telecommunications, and critical infrastructure monitoring — across the Baltic, Mediterranean, and North Seas. With a team of over 200 professionals and a proprietary fleet of survey vessels, MEWO has participated in all major offshore wind farm development projects in the Polish Baltic Sea zone.

Vinci S.A. is a fund management company within the BGK Group, managing PLN 1.1 billion in capital across its Venture Capital and Private Equity funds. Its mission is to support the growth, innovation, and international competitiveness of Polish enterprises, with a strategic focus on energy transition, dual-use technologies, and sectors of national importance.

BGK Group is a Polish development bank – the only institution of this type in Poland, whose mission is to support sustainable social and economic growth.

The minority investment by Vinci S.A is the largest single deployment from its private equity fund to date and will support MEWO’s geographical expansion strategy, further fleet development, and the scaling of its R&D capabilities. With the help of Vinci, MEWO aims to become a leading European provider of subsea survey and geoscience services, with planned expansion into the Black Sea and Indian Ocean markets.
