Netvlies joins 4NG Fund
Amsterdam – Corporate Finance International (‘CFI’) is delighted to announce it has acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor to Netvlies Group B.V. (“Netvlies”) in its sale to 4NG Fund (“4NG”).
Founded in 1997, Netvlies is an innovative and entrepreneurial digital agency, specialised in strategy, application and website development, online marketing, social intranet and digital workplace solution Hello Workspace. The company offers a broad scope of strategy, marketing and technology projects as well as subscriptions for a one-stop-shop approach. Netvlies has a long history, a solid local brand name and a broad knowledge of strategic, technological and marketing services for a full digital service offering.
4NG is an independent digital agency, dedicated to becoming a leading full-service digital agency, specialised in Development, Performance and Content. The company is active with five different labels, 4Net Interactive, Brainbrothers, PossibilIT, Arlanet and Nextfields and has offices in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Driebergen. 4NG offers services to companies in the Retail, B2B, Non Profit, Media, Finance and (semi) Government sectors.
In view of the further acceleration of the digital marketing services market and the growth of Netvlies in recent years, Netvlies initiated a process to assess the optimal shareholder structure for the Group going forward. Considering the market is constantly moving towards larger full service platforms, by integrating into a growth platform, 4NG strengthens its proposition towards clients and talent. Jochem Vlemmix, founding shareholder of Netvlies: “We are very pleased to have found an excellent partner in 4NG and look forward to combining both companies into a dominant player in the Netherlands. We very much valued the role of CFI during our continuing dialogue, resulting in the desired outcome for all stakeholders of Netvlies.”
CFI initiated discussions and negotiations in a process, which ultimately resulted in a successful sale to 4NG that closed on 19 April 2021. This transaction illustrates CFI’s continued activity in the Software and IT Services sector and our special focus on digital marketing services and reinforces our long-standing track record of orchestrating (cross-border) transactions in the Adtech, Martech & Digital space, as recently demonstrated by the sale of Blauw Gras to ACE (fmr. Born05 Group), part of Quadrum Capital, as well as in three separate transactions with iO (fmr. Intracto, part of Waterland), including the sale of Frontmen, the sale of Snackbytes and the sale of Luon.
