Producthero has been sold to Channable
Amsterdam – CFI is pleased to announce it has acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor to Producthero in its sale to Channable, a portfolio company of Partech.
About Producthero
Producthero is a next-generation shopping platform dedicated to creating smart tools for Shopping advertisers. As Europe’s largest premium Google Comparison Shopping Service (CSS) partner, it helps more than 10,000 webshops all over Europe improve the results of their campaigns by providing accessible and affordable Shopping solutions, expertise, and support. Its mission is to give shopping advertisers superpowers. Producthero provides a self-service Google CSS solution that delivers a 20% margin difference in Google’s Shopping Ad auction, resulting in up to 25% greater bidding power. The platform also offers Products AI, Price Benchmark insights, and the Labelizer Strategy to help businesses improve product visibility, optimise campaigns, and gain actionable insights.
About Channable
Channable is a leading multichannel e-commerce technology platform, powering more than 11,000 customers and agencies globally–including IKEA, Vodafone, Rituals and MediaMarkt. Founded in 2014, Channable offers a fully integrated way to list, advertise and optimise millions of products across more than 3,000 online channels and teams. The platform combines Feed Management, Marketplaces, PPC Optimization, Creatives, and Insights & Analytics, enabling businesses to scale their online sales with less complexity. In 2022, Channable raised €55 million in a Series B funding round, led by Paris-based Partech, alongside existing investor Peak Capital, to support its global expansion and further product development. In 2024, Channable surpassed €1 billion in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) from marketplace orders. Headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands, with offices in Berlin, Aarhus and New York City, Channable exports billions of products every day and continues to expand across Europe and beyond.
About the transaction
The acquisition of Producthero by Channable addresses the growing challenge faced by marketers who manage separate tools across product feeds, marketplace listings, and shopping advertisements. By combining their strengths, this partnership enhances Producthero’s ability to expand its offerings beyond Google Shopping, enabling clients to optimise across multiple platforms. For Channable, this move strengthens its feed management and PPC optimisation capabilities, providing a more comprehensive multichannel e-commerce solution. Together, the companies will serve over 15,000 customers globally, offering a unified platform that helps retailers and agencies streamline operations, grow more efficiently, and remain competitive across 3,000+ online channels. Both companies will continue to invest in AI-driven innovations to further automate and optimise the e-commerce experience.
CFI’s role in the process
CFI acted as exclusive financial advisor to Producthero in its sale to Channable, supporting shareholders throughout the entire transaction process. Drawing on deep sector expertise and hands-on execution, CFI provided strategic advice, prepared the business for market, and led a targeted outreach to potential buyers. By managing all workstreams, from positioning and valuation to due diligence and deal structuring, CFI helped secure an optimal outcome for the shareholders. The transaction successfully closed on 8 May 2025.
Wouter Veenboer, Co-founder & CEO of Producthero: “CFI helped us explore future scenarios for Producthero. During that process, it became clear that joining Channable stood out for us. We saw a strong match and great synergies. Together, we aim to become the ultimate platform for retailers and agencies who want to streamline their multichannel e-commerce operations. CFI supported us with their experience and expertise throughout the entire journey, from the first exploration to the final closing. Their involvement was committed and very helpful. Joining Channable opens a new chapter for us, and we are excited to build the future of multichannel e-commerce together. The outcome of this process was very successful and satisfying.”
