RYSE has been sold to XPartners, a portfolio company of Axcel

Amsterdam – CFI is pleased to announce that it has acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor to RYSE in its sale to XPartners, a portfolio company of Axcel.

About RYSE
Founded in 2013, RYSE is a Dutch multidisciplinary consultancy specialising in real estate advisory and project management. Its service offering spans strategy and advisory, development and preparation, and delivery and control, supporting clients throughout the lifecycle of real estate and development projects. The company works with public sector clients and institutions as well as private property owners and commercial clients, with assignments including public real estate, commercial premises, healthcare and education. RYSE operates from Utrecht and Groningen and combines strategic, legal and financial expertise in the built environment.

About XPartners
XPartners is a European engineering and design consulting group advising clients across infrastructure, buildings, energy and the environment. Founded in 2021, the group brings together specialist companies through a shared platform for collaboration and growth. XPartners comprises more than 70 companies and approximately 2,000 employees across Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. The group is backed by Axcel, which became the majority shareholder in 2023 to support its continued growth and international expansion.

About the transaction
The transaction marks the next step in RYSE’s development as part of a broader European platform focused on the built environment. For RYSE, partnering with XPartners offers the opportunity to accelerate its growth and organisational development, while building on its strong local position. For XPartners, the acquisition represents its first presence in the Netherlands and marks the beginning of its expansion beyond the Nordic region. RYSE will serve as the cornerstone of XPartners’ platform in the Netherlands, providing a base for further expansion through the addition of specialist firms in real estate and the built environment. The transaction is consistent with XPartners’ model of bringing together entrepreneur-led companies through a shared platform for collaboration and long-term development.

CFI’s role in the process
CFI advised RYSE throughout the transaction process. This included supporting the preparation and positioning of the business, engaging with selected counterparties, and advising on the structuring and negotiation of the key commercial terms. These efforts ultimately led to a successful closing of the transaction on 24 March 2026.

Driss Aarab, CEO of RYSE: “We greatly appreciated the constructive and professional support provided by CFI throughout this process. Their guidance and hands-on approach were instrumental in achieving a successful outcome. We are confident that joining XPartners provides a strong foundation for the next phase of RYSE’s development and look forward to further growing the business as part of a broader European platform.”
