Sodick has acquired a minority share in Prima Additive
Tokyo – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to Sodick in its entering into a capital and business alliance with Prima Additive, a subsidiary of Prima Industrie, by way of the acquisition of a minority share.
Sodick is a Japanese company that primarily produces equipment. They produce machines and components for machines that range from 3D printers to noodle makers to special-purpose molding equipment.
Prima Additive develops, manufactures, sells and distributes industrial systems for metal Additive Manufacturing applications. A leading global provider of advanced laser technologies for additive manufacturing, they specialise in Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) and Direct Energy Deposition (DED), and aim to become a top manufacturer in the metal 3D printing market through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.
