Straco has acquired staffing group LPC
Amsterdam – Corporate Finance International (‘CFI’) is delighted to announce it has acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor to Straco in its successful transaction with Labour Power Company (‘LPC’).
LPC is a fast-growing Dutch group specialised in staffing qualified international workers in the food, logistics, e-commerce and technical industries. LPC consists of seven independent labels and generates annual revenues of c. EUR 300 million. LPC employs over 10,000 skilled workers on a daily basis. With a structural shortage of skilled workers, increased internationalisation and increased mobility, LPC plays an essential role in the Dutch labour market. LPC strives to achieve the best results for and takes the utmost care of both its clients and its employees.
Straco is a Belgian-based independent investment firm, which emerged from an entrepreneurial family background, and focuses on long-term, sustainable and profitable growth investments in Europe. Straco’s portfolio companies operate in, amongst others, the Benelux, UK, France, Germany and Poland. Straco recently launched a private equity team with a dedicated focus on the Netherlands and is actively looking for further investment opportunities.
CFI initiated discussions and negotiations, which ultimately resulted in a successful acquisition of LPC, which was signed at the end of March 2022. Maarten Peers, Managing Director of Straco Private Equity, commented: “We worked with CFI in earlier processes and their introduction to LPC as a potential investment opportunity, together with their support throughout the transaction and extensive experience in the Business Services sector, has proven extremely helpful. With our new team in Amsterdam, led by Emile van Elen, the partnership with LPC marks a promising milestone.”
This transaction illustrates CFI’s continued dedication to the Business Services sector and reinforces our long-standing track record of orchestrating (cross-border) transactions, as recently demonstrated by the sale of Stratt+ to Copus Group, and the sale of The Human Network to House of Talents.
