Totoku Electric Co., Ltd has been acquired by The Carlyle Group
 Tokyo – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to Totoku Electric Co., Ltd in its acquisition by The Carlyle Group.
Founded in 1940 with a head office in Tokyo, Totoku promotes the development of products with originality in areas such as electric wire, heating products, and cable and wire processed products. They pursue this development based on new material technology, and then utilise it to expand their business globally.
The Carlyle Group is a multinational private equity company with over 2,100 professionals across the globe. They use their network and deep industry knowledge to act as a driving force for positive change, and manage $369 billion in assets worldwide. This acquisition adds to their footprint in Japanese industry.
