CFI United Kingdom Awarded Debt Adviser of the Year 2021

CFI United Kingdom  is pleased to announce it has been awarded ‘Debt Adviser of the Year’ at the Finance Monthly M&A Awards 2021.

This is the second successive year that CFI UK has been presented with the award, with the firm on track to achieve a record year completing a variety of transactions across a range of funding solutions.

CFI United Kingdom Debt Advisory
CFI UK’s dedicated debt advisory function enables businesses to achieve the optimal funding structure and partner with the most appropriate finance
provider to meet their strategic ambitions. The CFI UK team has extensive experience in refinancing and fundraising transactions from a range of institutional sources including mainstream banks, private debt funds, asset finance/invoice discounting and mezzanine finance providers. The firm has raised funds ranging from £1 million to over £100 million.

The Debt Market Landscape
Lender appetite has been buoyed by the economic rebound from the pandemic. Capital is being deployed at record rates across the debt
markets, especially within Covid-resilient sectors underpinned by strong operational performance, renewed stakeholder confidence and demonstrable debt serviceability.

Mid-Market companies and SMEs have benefitted from an increasing range of funder types in recent years, each with varying degrees of lender appetite and facility ‘sweet-spots’.

Interest rates have been low for an extended period of time and are expected to remain at a similar rate for the foreseeable future. This allows businesses to fully test the debt markets and obtain financing solutions at near all-time low funding costs to support strategic activity.
