Geraint joined CFI UK in 1999 and became a partner in 2003. During his career, Geraint has been involved in a significant number of transactions including management buy-outs, development capital, fundraisings, disposals, acquisitions and restructuring assignments and has a particular focus in private equity and venture capital. He acts for a number of private equity investors in relation to their portfolio work and his sector experience includes Business Services, Facilities Management, Human Capital, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals and Food & Consumer Goods.
He was Insider Magazine’s ‘Dealmaker of the Year’ in 2005, 2015 and 2019.
He graduated with a first class honours degree in Zoology from the University of Bristol in 1993. He commenced his career with KPMG and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996 when he was placed in the ICAEW United Kingdom National Order of Merit. In 1996, Geraint joined KPMG Corporate Finance and passed the Securities Institute Corporate Finance Examination in 1997 and was awarded the ICAEW Corporate Finance Diploma in 2007.
