Daniel started his professional career in Düsseldorf, working four years in a Big4 audit firm, before joining CFI Germany in 2008. From 2008 until the end of 2013 he led various Corporate Finance projects in M&A, Financial Advisory, and Restructuring. In the years 2014-2016 he worked as a CFO for the German / Polish business unit in one of Europe’s leading metal recycling firms. Before returning to CFI Germany in April 2019, he founded his own start-up, a B2B online marketplace for recycling commodities.
Daniel has an extensive experience in recycling, commodities, e-commerce, machinery, automotive and MRO parts, both in M&A/Financial advisory and corporate restructuring. His experience is completed with projects in the food ingredients’ and pharmaceutical sectors.
He graduated with Diploma in Business Administration from University of Paderborn and participated in an executive education program for restructuring and M&A at Harvard Business School.
