Ponte Holdings has acquired ob&b
Cardiff – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to the Vernaschi Family on its acquisition of ob&b.
Roberto Vernaschi, former Head of Corporate Sales at Orangebox, has completed the acquisition of ob&b, marking the Vernaschi family’s return to British furniture manufacturing and the beginning of a new chapter for the business.
This milestone unites two families that share deep roots in the furniture industry, with a mutual commitment to quality, sustainability and long-term customer relationships at their core. The acquisition marks a significant step in ob&b’s continued growth while preserving the heritage and reputation that ob&b has built over the past 40 years.
ob&b is a designer and manufacturer of contemporary British furniture, operating from a factory in the Midlands and a showroom in Clerkenwell, London. Founded in 1983 by Dinah Berry and Richard Berry, the business has established a strong reputation for high-quality, sustainably produced furniture for the contract and workplace sectors.
