CATC AB has been acquired by FPI Group
Gothenburg – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to CATC AB on its acquisition by FPI Group.
CATC AB is a Gothenburg-based company offering end-to-end HVAC solutions for the marine industry – spanning design and software development through to installation, commissioning and ongoing support. The company is characterised by a high level of technical expertise and close customer relationships, with the cruise industry as its dominant customer segment. CATC forms part of the newly established holding company Fläkt Marine Solutions AB, alongside Fläkt Marine AB.
FPI Group AB is a family-owned investment company founded by the families behind Mellby Gård AB, Profura AB and Santhe Dahl Invest AB. FPI acts as long-term principal owner of small and medium-sized Nordic niche companies, with a focus on industrial development and an unlimited holding horizon. The acquisition of CATC forms part of FPI’s ambition to build a leading Nordic cluster within the Marine Services business area.
