CFI advised The Employment Group (‘TEG’), a portfolio company of Bencis, on the acquisition of Verhoeve Engineering

Amsterdam – CFI acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor to The Employment Group (‘TEG’), a portfolio company of Bencis Capital Partners (‘Bencis’), on the acquisition of Verhoeve Engineering.

TEG’s white collar recruitment division is TRACÉ, a specialist staffing company for higher educated professionals in the areas of civil engineering, electrical and mechanical engineering, architectonics and geo informatics. It serves clients in the construction, (road and rail) infrastructure, energy, offshore and installation industries under preferred supplier contracts or on a project by project basis. Following the acquisition of Verhoeve Engineering, TRACÉ employs over 420 full-time equivalent employees through its network of seven branches across the Netherlands.

TRACÉ is part of The Employment Group (‘TEG’), a holding company for niche staffing businesses specialised in the painting, construction and technical engineering industries. TEG is executing a strategy of autonomous and acquisitive growth in construction-related industries, supported by Bencis Capital Partners, an independent private equity firm targeting medium sized companies in the Benelux. Since 2013, TRACÉ is part of TEG, following a process in which MBCF advised the owners of TRACÉ on the transaction with TEG.

Verhoeve Engineering is a leading supplier of white collar engineers with a specialisation in electrical installation and mechanical engineering to technical installation companies in the Benelux.

CFI approached the owners of Verhoeve Engineering on behalf of Bencis, TEG and TRACÉ, and initiated exclusive discussions and negotiations that ultimately resulted in a successful transaction closed in January 2015.
