Liekens N.V. will continue as a separate brand within the TOI TOI & DIXI Group.
CFI’s role in the process
Following strategic discussions with TOI TOI & DIXI on their M&A objectives, CFI started canvassing the Belgian landscape and assessed the identified targets in order to pursue buy-and-build efforts in this region. Subsequently, CFI initiated contact, discussions and negotiations on an acquisition of Liekens. After agreement on terms, CFI coordinated the due diligence to successfully complete the transaction. In this exclusive process the day-to-day management team of TOI TOI & DIXI was supported by CFI in order to streamline the process and to minimise disruptions.
COO of TOI TOI & DIXI, Mr Frank Feuerstacke said: ‘This acquisition further enhances the position of TOI TOI & DIXI in Belgium and enables us to serve our customers even better.
