CFI provided valuation to Hero MotoCorp Limited (HMCL), to increase its stake in its joint venture HMCL Colombia
Mumbai – CFI India is pleased to announce it performed a valuation of HMCL Colombia, in order for Hero MotoCorp Limited (HMCL) to increase its stake in the joint venture HMCL Colombia from 51% to 68%.
The Joint Venture comprises of HMCL Netherlands B.V. and its partner, Woven Holdings LLC. The latter’s stake in the JV will go down from 49% to 32%. HMCL Colombia manufactures and distributes two wheelers in Colombia. The company is headquartered in Villa Rica, Colombia. HMCL Colombia SAS operates as a subsidiary of HMCL Netherlands BV.
Hero MotoCorp Limited manufactures and sells motorized two-wheelers, spare parts, and components in India. It offers motorcycles, scooters, and related engines and services. The company also exports its products to countries in rest of Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas. The company was formerly known as Hero Honda Motors Limited and changed its name to Hero MotoCorp Limited in July 2011. Hero MotoCorp Limited was incorporated in 1984 and is based in New Delhi, India.
The transaction closed on 21 June 2018.
