CGI has sold its Portuguese DMS business unit to Contisystems and its Spanish DMS busienss unit to MailTeck
Lisbon – CFI is pleased to announce that they acted as CGI Portugal’s financial advisors on the sale of its assets, workforce, and client’s portfolio of its Portuguese DMS business unit to Contisystems, and its Spanish Spanish DMS business unit to Mailteck.
In 2023, CGI Portugal engaged with CFI to oversee the divestiture of their Document Management Services business unit, aligning with their strategic redefinition within the IT services sector.
CFI conducted an international process, targeting global industrial players and private equity firms, resulting in a successful transaction with Contisystems and Mailteck.
Established in 1976, CGI ranks among the largest IT and business consulting services firms globally, operating across more than 400 locations worldwide with a workforce exceeding 90,000 professionals.
The MailComms group, which includes Mailteck and CustomerComms, is a Spanish business group founded in 1994 and focused on providing services to companies, in particular everything related to the management of personalised graphic communications, both physical and digital. Its services range from creative design, to data analysis, to composition and execution of omnichannel communications, satisfying the various communication needs of companies with their customers.
Contisystems, a leading Portuguese company specializing in integrated solutions for document management, payment systems, and digital transformation, has been owned by MailComms since 2023.
