About the transaction
The acquisition of Consultes by TAUW enhances both organisations’ capabilities in regulatory compliance, safety, and environmental consultancy. With Consultes’ expertise in environmental permits, energy audits, and HSE compliance, this partnership strengthens TAUW’s service offering and expands its presence in Flanders (Belgium), especially in the Antwerp Port area. For Consultes, joining forces with TAUW offers the opportunity to scale operations and leverage TAUW’s extensive network, resulting in greater value for clients and a stronger focus on sustainable development and operational excellence.
CFI’s role in the process
Consultes invited CFI to advise on the sale to TAUW Group, where CFI provided key support throughout the transaction. This included performing financial analysis and valuation, and assisting in the negotiation and structuring of the deal. As a firm fully dedicated to the engineering services market, CFI leveraged its industry expertise to ensure a tailored approach. These efforts led to a successful closing on 26 November 2024.
