B. Engelhardt & Co has been acquired by Bang & Bonsomer
Stockholm – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to B. Engelhardt & Co. in its acquisition by Bang & Bonsomer.
Engelhardt, one of the Nordic region’s leading manufacturers and developers of smart solutions for the food industry, was founded in 1962. Today, Engelhardt holds a prominent position among manufacturers and distributors in baking recipe development, dry blends, functional specialty ingredients, and health products. To deliver maximum customer value, the company combines a high degree of technical expertise with modern, well-invested facilities strategically located in Gothenburg, Sweden, and a permanent establishment in Vejle, Denmark, from where it serves the Danish market.
Bang & Bonsomer, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, and operating in nine countries, is a smart material technology company providing a wide range of industrial raw materials and additives to various industries. The company is divided into five business divisions, each serving different industrial sectors. In 2023, Bang & Bonsomer achieved a turnover of €170 million and employed more than 300 people.
