Färskvaruhuset AB has been acquired by BPI A/S
Stockholm – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as advisor and project leader on behalf of the sellers in connection with the change of ownership when BPI A/S’s acquires Färskvaruhuset AB.
Färskvaruhuset was founded in 1958 in Kungälv and initially operated under the company name KC Chark. In 2003, the name was changed to Färskvaruhuset with the aim of becoming a nationwide supplier of meat, charcuterie, and delicatessen products to the retail sector. Through high service standards, flexibility, and a strong customer focus, the company has shown significant growth since then.
The operations are currently run from modern facilities in Kungälv, just outside Gothenburg. Today, the company has a turnover of nearly 500 MSEK.
BPI is an international food trading company with HQ in Denmark, and several Office Representations worldwide. BPI consist of different business divisions: Bulk Meat, Dairy Ingredients, Foodservice and Retail. Offerings include a wide range of products within poultry, beef, pork, fish, lamb, cheese, vegetarian and vegan products, in own brands and private label brands.
With this acquisition, BPI A/S expands and creates an even stronger partnership for the food retail sector in the Nordics.
