Tokyo – Frontier Management Inc. (CFI Japan) is pleased to announce that they acted as financial advisor to Hitachi , Ltd. in the sale of radiation measurement  device business and the industrial  X-ray CT device business  to Nippon Mirai Capital Co., Ltd.
Hitachi is a Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. It is the parent company of the Hitachi and had formed part of the Nissan zaibatsu and later DKB Group and Fuyo Group of companies before DKB and Fuji Bank (the core Fuyo Group company) merged into the Mizuho Financial Group. As of 2020, Hitachi conducts business ranging from IT, including AI, the Internet of Things, and big data, to infrastructure.
Hitachi is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and Nagoya Stock Exchange.
Nippon Mirai Capital Co., Ltd. was founded in 2002. As an independent investment fund with traits of Japanese culture and tradition, they emphasize the creation of corporate value at investees and shares this value among all concerned parties.
The transaction closed in April 2021.
