Size marker producer Mark Bric has been acquired by private investment company Sareq
Stockholm – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to Mark Bric Group in its acquisition by Sareq.
Mark Bric was founded in 1971 by Gert Johansson with the aim of creating high-quality size markers for customers in the retail sector. Mark Bric quickly became a global player, expanding into the American market as early as the 1970s. Today, the company employs 27 people and has its own developed production and warehouse facilities in Stenkullen, near Gothenburg, as well as in Richmond, Virginia, USA. In 2023, the company had a turnover of approx. 57 MSEK and and EBITDA-result of approx. 15 MSEK.
Sareq is a privately owned investment firm founded in 2018. The company focuses on developing successful businesses through close collaboration with management teams, offering long-term ownership as well as strategic and operational expertise. Sareq primarily seeks investment opportunities in the Nordic market, targeting profitable niche companies with revenues between 50 and 300 MSEK.
