MinebeaMitsumi Inc. has acquired Sumiko Tec.
Toyko – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to MinebeaMitsumi Inc. and its subsidiary Mitsumi Electric Co., Ltd. in its acquisition of Sumiko Tec.
The Mitsumi Electric Co., Ltd. was a Japanese manufacturer of consumer electronic components, founded in 1954. On January 27, 2017, Minebea merged with Mitsumi to form MinebeaMitsumi.
Sumiko Tec is a one of the group companies of SUMITOMO METAL MINING and first company to sell Crimping Terminals in Japan.
This transaction closed on 1 November 2022.
