Nordic women’s underwear brand Trofé has been acquired by Bolagsgruppen Lotorp
Stockholm – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as project manager and financial advisor to the owners of Trofé in connection with its acquisition by Bolagsgruppen Lotorp.
Trofé produces and sells women’s underwear, swimwear, nightwear, and a small collection of women’s clothing primarily in the Nordic market. Founded in 1962, Trofé is a well-managed and prestigious family business based in the textile city of Borås. All design and product development take place in-house, and Trofé sells its products through an extensive network of retailers and online via its own e-commerce platform. Trofé is perhaps best known for its underwear, and its target audience of loyal customers has steadily grown over the years. The company has consistently demonstrated incredible financial stability with very good profitability.
Bolagsgruppen Lotorp was formed in 2004, and their group of companies currently has a total turnover of approximately SEK 2 billion, employing over 600 employees in 8 countries. With the philosophy of being a stable and long-term owner, Lotorp acquires well-managed, profitable companies with strong market positions and continuously develops their operations by providing commitment, knowledge, and resources.
