Or-Quest has been sold to TSG (fmly STAR Group), a portfolio company of Parcom Capital

Amsterdam – Corporate Finance International (‘CFI’) is pleased to announce that it acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor to Or-Quest Holding (‘Or-Quest’ or the ‘Company’) in its sale to TSG (fmly STAR Group), a portfolio company of Parcom Capital.

Or-Quest was founded in 2010 and has grown remarkably since then and has been rewarded twice an FD Gazelle. Or-Quest is a white-collar staffing specialist focused on the secondment (Dutch: “Detacheren”) of white-collar professionals with a higher vocational (Dutch: “HBO”) or university (Dutch: “WO”) background in the construction, infrastructure and engineering sector. The Company is seconding about 150 direct employees to a varied client base from its headquarters in Drachten, the Netherlands.

With the additional knowledge, network and experience of TSG, the services will be further expanded and optimised. Jelmer Spijksma, owner of Or-Quest: “It was the logical next step in the development of Or-Quest. We now have a strong partner behind us, whose culture matches ours. Both teams are strongly focused on the human and substantive relationship with clients and candidates.”

TSG has been established in 2001 and has developed into one of the leading technical workforce solution providers in the Benelux, with an annual turnover of approximately EUR 180 million. From offices in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, TSG serves its customers in technical industries with consultancy, staffing and secondment, and project support.

The acquisition is the next step in TSG’s broadening strategy. Technical projects and clients have an increasing need for a one-stop-shop for specialist staffing and project support. With the acquisition of Or-Quest, TSG strengthens its position in the construction and infrastructure sector in the Northern part of the country and at the same time expands its services and network in this region considerably. “For our customers and those of Or-Quest, a broader package of specialist services and project support is created in the Northern Netherlands under one roof.” – said Sil Hoeve, CEO of TSG.

CFI orchestrated discussions and negotiations in a process, which ultimately resulted in a successful sale to TSG, that closed on 11 December 2020. This transaction further emphasises CFI’s leading position in the Staffing & HR Services sector.
