The Sto Group has acquired the remaining 50.2 % shares in Jonas Farbenwerke
Zurich – Corporate Finance International (’CFI’) is pleased to announce that they acted as financial advisor to the Sto Group in the acquisition of the remaining 50.2 % shares in Jonas Farbenwerke.
The family-owned company Jonas employs 88 people and focuses on wall paints and other water-based coating products in the German professional market. In addition, the company has become a specialist of paints in customer presentations. JONAS Farbenwerke GmbH & Co. KG manufactures isolating paints, plasters, glues, primers, and silicone-based products. The company was founded in 1936 and is based in Wülfrath, Germany.
Since 2002, the Sto Group has been deliberately building up a second distribution channel for selected products offered through specialist and wholesale outlets, in addition to its traditional direct sales activities. With Südwest Lacke und Farben in Böhl-Iggelheim, the paint specialist within the Sto Group, the Group is already represented here and is currently investing in a new logistics center at the Böhl-Iggelheim location.
Sto SE & Co. KGaA manufactures and sells products and systems for building coatings (paints, plasters, varnishes and coating systems as well as thermal insulation composite systems).
The transaction closed on 28 February 2021.
