Walor Group is selling Walor Precision Turning to Reed Capital


Paris – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to Walor Group and Mutares on the signing of an agreement for the sale of Walor Precision Turning to Reed Capital.

Walor is a French industrial group specializing in the manufacturing of forged and machined components for the automotive and commercial vehicle industries. The group employs more than 1,400 people across 11 production sites worldwide. Its industrial capabilities include forging, machining, and precision turning, with operations across Europe, Asia, and North America.

Its precision turning division encompasses high-precision metal turning operations for automotive passive safety systems, particularly seatbelt pretensioners and airbag gas generators. The divested perimeter includes three production sites located in Legé (France), Sfântu Gheorghe (Romania), and Irapuato (Mexico). In 2025, Walor Precision Turning generated approximately €55 million in revenue and employs around 420 people.

Reed Capital is an independent investment platform based in Paris, specializing in complex situations and opportunities with strong potential for growth or performance improvement. The firm supports the transformation and strategic repositioning of companies, with a focus on unlocking potential and delivering operational value creation.

The agreement signed with Reed Capital marks a new phase of development for Walor Precision Turning, building on its industrial expertise, international presence, and growth potential.

Closing of the transaction is expected in the summer of 2026, subject to receiving the opinion of the employee representatives and other customary closing conditions.
