Westerduin partners with Werkis, backed by Quadrum Capital
Amsterdam – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor to Westerduin in its partnership with Werkis, backed by Quadrum Capital.
About Westerduin
Founded in 2007, Westerduin is a Dutch staffing specialist with nine offices across the central part of the Netherlands. The company connects candidates and employers across technical, logistics, industrial and production roles, combining strong regional involvement with a personal approach. Adhocdocent, which specialises in connecting teachers with educational institutions, is also part of the organisation.
About Werkis
Established in 2008, Werkis is a Dutch staffing specialist with eleven offices across the north-eastern part of the Netherlands. Through its regional network and knowledge of local labour markets, Werkis matches candidates with employers across sectors including production, logistics and technical roles. Werkis is backed by Quadrum Capital, which became the company’s growth partner in June 2026.
About Quadrum Capital
Quadrum Capital is an independent Dutch investment firm focused on established mid-market businesses with growth ambitions. In addition to providing capital, Quadrum supports its portfolio companies with strategic expertise and access to an extensive entrepreneurial network.
About the transaction
The partnership between Westerduin and Werkis marks an important step in the development of a new regional staffing group, comprising twenty offices across the northern, eastern and central parts of the Netherlands. The two organisations share a strong regional orientation, entrepreneurial culture and people-focused approach. Together with Quadrum Capital as growth partner, Westerduin and Werkis have access to additional knowledge, financial resources and a broader network to support further professionalisation, accelerate the opening of new offices and expand their geographic reach, while both companies retain their own names and identities.
CFI’s role in the process
CFI guided Westerduin and its shareholders through the transaction, from process preparation and strategic positioning to coordinating key workstreams and the negotiation process towards closing. The transaction successfully closed on 25 August 2026.
Tineke Boom, shareholder of Westerduin: “After many years of building Westerduin with great energy and dedication, this is a particularly significant moment for us. The founding Westerduin brothers and I are handing over the business, so finding the right partner for the company’s next phase was essential to us. CFI provided clear strategic guidance throughout, helping us navigate the important decisions along the way until the successful closing. Werkis is a very strong fit in terms of culture and entrepreneurship and, with Quadrum Capital as growth partner, we believe Westerduin has an excellent foundation for the future.”
