Tellam and BCP have been acquired by Civilmart
Brisbane – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as financial advisor to Tellam and BCP in their sale to Civilmart.
Established on the Sunshine Coast in 1989, Tellam is one of the best-known names in Queensland when it comes to precast concrete products. Servicing local councils and shires, state government authorities, large-scale private contractors and local tradespeople, Tellam is known for consistently delivering high-quality precast concrete, no matter the size or scale of the job. With Tellam joining the Civilmart Group, they can now offer a widened range of products as part of one of the largest Australian-owned precast concrete companies in the industry.
The buyer, Civilmart Group, combines the history and expertise of over nine Australian precast concrete brands, to bring you a unique and specialised buying experience. They have locations in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, and serve customers Australia-wide. From humble beginnings in 2011 with Midland Concrete Pipes (MC Pipes), to the acquisition of Icon-Septech Vic in 2016 and Tellam Civil Products and BCP Precast in 2017, the need for an ‘umbrella’ brand to combine the three locally well-known brands was needed to be recognized as one, in 2017 ‘Civilmart’ was born.
