Arterris, UI Investissement and Crédit Mutuel Equity have acquired Occipain Group (La Panetière)
Paris – CFI is pleased to announce that it served as the exclusive financial advisor to the cooperative Arterris and the investment funds UI Investissement and Crédit Mutuel Equity in the acquisition of Groupe Occipain (La Panetière, La Panetière Atelier, Secrets de Pain, Le P’tit Marché and La Panetière des Vacances).
Founded in 1936 in Aveyron, Groupe Occipain manufactures and distributes frozen bakery and pastry products, with more than 200 own references.
The Group is fully integrated and benefits from a strong regional presence with a network of 208 points of sale, of which 124 are owned and 84 under licensing. These mainly operate under the La Panetière and Secrets de Pain brands and are spread over the regions of Occitanie and Nouvelle Aquitaine.
To fuel its growth and geographical expansion, the Group has been accompanied by Initiative & Finance as a majority shareholder since 2016. In 2023, the Group boasted a revenue of €61 million for more than 690 employees.
The Group is acquired through a NewCo, held at c. 75% by both Arterris and Guillaume Moly, the remaining shares being divided between UI Investissement and Crédit Mutuel Equity.
This transaction closed on 28 March 2024.
