CFI advised Continu Recruitment Services on its sale to The House of HR, a portfolio company of Naxicap


Amsterdam – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor on the sale of Continu Recruitment Services (‘Continu’) to The House of His Royal Majesty The Customer (‘The House of HR’), a portfolio company of Naxicap.

Continu (the ‘Company’) provides contract and permanent recruitment services to the construction and (electrical, mechanical and installation) engineering sectors. The Company supplies white collar technical professionals to a broad range of (infrastructure) building contractors, installation companies, machine building and production companies, consultancy and engineering firms. Continu operates from eight locations throughout the Netherlands and employs approximately 600 employees.

The House of HR offers a full range of HR solutions, with subsidiaries operating in the area of temporary and permanent staffing (Accent Jobs and Covebo), payrolling (Payroll Accent), outsourcing of technical profiles (Logi-technic), the outsourcing engineers (Abylsen and Continu), job placement, training and HR consulting (PEAK6) and service vouchers (Home Maid). The House of HR is present in Belgium (headquarters), the Netherlands, France, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland and Romania, with concrete plans for expansion in Europe. The House of HR employs some 1,500 direct employees and generated in 2014 a consolidated turnover of 398 million euros. Since 2012, The House of HR is a portfolio company of Naxicap Partners, one of France’s leading private equity companies with approximately €2.0 billion of capital under management.

The transaction and Continu’s new partnership with The House of HR and its affliliated companies will provide access to additional capital and resources to support the next phase of the Company’s growth. This includes initially the ramp up of recruitment activities in the industry and engineering sector, consolidate its uncontested market leading position in the Dutch construction and civil engineering sector, opening up new offices in the Netherlands, as well as the roll out of its activities on the Belgian market.

CFI initiated discussions and negotiations with a range of potential international strategic and financial buyers in a process that ultimately resulted in a successful transaction with The House of HR, which closed 14 September 2015.
