CFI advised Flexpak on its sale to Oerlemans Packaging
Amsterdam – CFI acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor to the family shareholders of Flexpak on the sale to Oerlemans Packaging.
Flexpak, a family owned company, has been producing laminated foils for over 30 years. Flexpak is specialized in flexoprinting, laminating and cutting of printed packaging materials for both the food and non-food industry. Flexpak’s production facilities are located in Geldermalsen, the Netherlands, and Flexpak’s products are sold both domestically and abroad.
Oerlemans Packaging, also a family owned company, produces customer-specific, flexible high quality plastic packaging and films. Oerlemans Packaging consists of five subsidiaries, each with its own specialty.
With the acquisition of Flexpak as the sixth subsidiary Oerlemans will be able to provide its clients with a more comprehensive product offering.
CFIÂ initiated discussions and negotiations with a select number of potential strategic buyers in a process that ultimately resulted in a successful transaction with Oerlemans Packaging which closed 26 April 2016.
