CFI France advises the shareholders of GROUPE WORLD RECYCLING in its transfer to the Belgian group ENERGIPOLE
Paris – CFI France acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of GROUPE WORLD RECYCLING in its transfer to the Belgian group ENERGIPOLE.
Located in the Var region, GROUPE WORLD RECYCLING is the local leader in the collection, recycling, and recovery of iron and metals.
Founded in the 1930s, GROUPE WORLD RECYCLING originated from a family of salvage operators. Over time and through significant investments, the company moved up the value chain to offer recycling and recovery services for iron and metals. The group also successfully diversified into new activities such as the management and dismantling of end-of-life vehicles (ELVs), the disposal of pleasure boats, and the collection of waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
With a strong local presence at 5 sites in the Var and a processing capacity of 100,000 tons of metal waste, the group, comprising 40 employees, achieved consolidated revenues exceeding 20 million euros in 2022.
Following a process advised by CFI France-Athema, the family shareholders (4th generation) chose the ENERGIPOLE group to embark on a new phase of development.
Founded in 2006 by the successful entrepreneur Alain Mallart, the ENERGIPOLE Group is a family owned and independent group with a turnover of over 100 million euros, active in six areas of expertise, mainly in France and overseas: (i) waste recycling and recovery, (ii) the design, construction, and operation of waste treatment facilities, (iii) soil and groundwater decontamination, (iv) renewable energy production, (v) industrial services, and (vi) real estate.
