Contisystems has sold its envelope production unit to Copidata, a subsidiary of Printeos group
Lisbon – Corporate Finance International (’CFI’) is pleased to announce that it acted as the exclusive advisor to the shareholders of Contisystems on the sale of their envelopes production unit to Copidata, a subsidiary of Printeos Group.
Created in 1967 as the first Portuguese company that produced forms, Contisystems evolved and is currently an end-to-end provider of personalized customer communications products and services such as Customer Communications Management and Printing and Payment Solutions.
Their intentions to divest on non-core areas resulted on the sale of their envelopes production unit to Copidata.
Copidata develops, produces and markets labels and tags, tickets, envelopes, forms, graphic communication products and personalization services. It’s a subsidiary of Printeos Group, that is one of the largest European envelope manufacturers, with production sites in Spain, France, Portugal, Poland and Czech Republic.
We started working with Contisystems in January 2020, to find a suitable buyer for their non-strategic areas, and the process resulted in a successful transaction with Copidata in March 2021. This is an operation in continuity, and they are still looking to divest in non-core units, spinning-off the printing segment (continuous forms and printed paper).
