Malaysia-based Daiken Sarawak has acquired WTK Resforestation
Toyko – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to Daiken Corporation in the acquisition of WTK Reforestation Sdn. Bhd. by Daiken Sarawak Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of Daiken Corporation.
The reforestation initiative is just one part of WTK Holdings business model, also including timber, plantation and the production of adhesive tape. Committed to sustainable forest management, WTK Reforestation helps ensure the long term health of Malaysian forests.
Daiken Sarawak, is one of the Malaysian arms of the Tokyo-based Daiken Corporation, which is concerned with the manufacture and sale of mineral and wooden fiberboards, as well as special plywood for ships, rolling stock, and musical instruments.
