Sonnplast has been sold to an undisclosed strategic investor
Düsseldorf – Corporate Finance International (‘CFI’) is pleased to announce that they acted as financial advisor to Sonnplast in its sale to an undisclosed strategic investor.
Sonnplast manufactures injection molded parts from thermoplastics for the automotive industry in Sonneberg, Thuringia. The product portfolio includes seat and decorative panels, ventilation flaps, cup holders, vehicle lights and various functional parts such as sealing lips.
After registering insolvency Sonnplast was forced to enter an M&A process in order to satisfy existing creditors and finance future business.The deal with an undisclosed strategic investor could be closed in January 2021.
